Hi, I’m Nicola – a Brit living in Tenerife who can’t get enough of the frustrating parts of digital marketing that stress most people out.
While most people groan at SEO writing, I delve into keyword research and pull out my creative flair for the ultimate website content that wows your readers and Google.
While most people haven’t got a clue what to post on Facebook, I analyse audiences to find out where they are, what content they want to see and use it to build a sensational social media marketing strategy.
While most people get lost down the Pinterest rabbit hole and end up with an account full of pins about things they love, I refine my proven social media marketing strategy and use it to reach and influence your target audience.
Basically, I’m the right balance of geek and creative. I know how to do all the background stuff to please the search engine masters, while also connecting with your people and delivering them engaging, exciting content they love.
I dived into my line of work in 2011 and I haven’t stopped swimming since.
During this time I’ve done everything from create SEO content about what Tenerife is like throughout the year for a high-ranking holiday weather website to create and manage my own healthy recipe food blog filled with recipes I’ve developed, shot and written about myself.
I’ve created and set up compelling email campaigns to encourage people to sign up for life coaching sessions and completed thorough research on worldwide pandemics and what dentists can do to combat them.
I’ve curated remarkable images of New Zealand and shared them via Instagram to inspire people to travel to the youngest country on earth and used Facebook as a customer service tool to help out people who want to buy an engagement ring but don’t know where to begin.
Think I sound like a bit of a “Jack of all trades”? That’s not strictly true. I specialise in travel, food and health. But if I get an offer in another topic that interests me, I’ll snap it up.
One of the best things a client has ever said about me is, “She has great ideas and is always helpful in making sure what she’s working on is successful and that you’re completely happy.”
That is my number 1 priority when working with you. I’m not going to call it a day until you’re happy. Whether it’s just a couple of small changes, a re-write or a total overhaul, I’m not going to finish working on your project until you’re 100% happy with what I’ve delivered.
Because I enjoy travelling and spending as much time outside as possible, I change up my schedule a lot. Because of this, instead of calls or video chats, I’m all about email. This way everyone has enough time to take in all the information and properly think about their response before giving it. Email is also a fantastic way of keeping track of all the info without having to constantly take notes.
If you’re a big talker and want someone you can have regular calls with, we’re not a good match for each other. But if you’re willing to meet me half way and we can cover the content of what would be said in the calls over review emails, we’ll get along just great.
Believe me, I don’t just do this gig to pay the bills. I do it because I love it. When I’m not outlining an innovative SEO strategy, researching an article or responding to customers on social media, I’m reading up about all aspects of digital marketing.
I subscribe to newsletters, I join tip-sharing groups, I read industry-leading blogs, I follow digital marketing gurus online…I seriously can’t get enough of the stuff. Which is great news for you because it means you can take a total step back and just let me do my thing if you want to.
This dedication means I’m always up-to-date on the latest best practices and raring to do some testing when a new algorithm change has just been pushed through.
